Pregnancy yoga

 

A beautiful way to gently exercise the body, relax the mind and make a real connection with your unborn baby. 

We use gentle breathing techniques, soothing meditations and flowing movements to assist you with pregnancy throughout all stages. 

Moves that you learn within class can be transferred across to you labour, giving you gentle techniques to help the mind and body connect and assist during contractions. 

You have the opportunity to meet other mums to be and form friendships through the classes. I am still in touch with mums I met during my pregnancy yoga when I was expecting my son in 2017. 

During pregnancy yoga, your baby is listening to sounds, feeling your breath, feeling just as calm as you.

A baby can learn when their mother is relaxed through her breathing, through sounds, through movement.

When you continue to mum and baby yoga once little one is born, your baby will remember the sounds, recognise their mothers breath for relaxation and also will recognise the voice of the yoga teacher thus aiding calmness and familiarity!

Pregnancy Yoga classes 

The course runs in monthl rolling blocks, you can start from as early as 12 weeks all the way up until you give birth, we always welcome back families who have had their little ones to meet the rest of the group. 

If you enrol on the course you are automatically on the list to continue once baby is born with our baby massage, and mummy and baby yoga sessions ( you have first refusal on spaces)
